Our Top Racing Shoe For Route66: The Saucony Endorphin Pro

Updated: 2 days ago

Saucony shone at Route66 for the running RunnersWorld Tulsa staff! Kathy, CJ, and Cody all wore the Saucony Endorphin Pro for the full marathon.

Three of your friendly neighborhood RunnersWorld Tulsa staff ran the Route66 Full Marathon last weekend. Somehow, all three of us chose to wear the Saucony Endorphin Pro--let's see how it went!

Kathy | Saucony Endorphin Pro 3

Here's what Kathy had to say about running in the Endorphin Pro 3:

"The Endorphin Pro was just the right combination of pop to give you that boost and cushion to not beat up your feet."

The Endorphin Pro 3 was replaced by the Endorphin Pro 4 this year. The difference is in the foam--Saucony added a chunk of their PWRRUN HG superfoam to the Pro 4. This adds a touch of softness and makes the shoe lighter.

CJ and Cody | Saucony Endorphin Pro 4

This was CJ's first "isolated" full marathon (not part of an Ironman triathlon) and he placed 4th overall! Here's what he thought about running in the Endorphin Pro 4:

"The Endorphin Pro 4 has a lot of snap with the right balance of being soft and firm for performance and comfort. And, most importantly, it feels as fast as it looks."

And Cody says:

"The Endorphin Pro 4 is a bit more shoe than I usually run in, but I loved it! Especially towards the end of the race, when I was pushing myself faster than I felt like, the shoe was really smooth! I think the shape of the plate just works perfectly with the foam combination. I loved how the shoe sorta faded into the background and I was just running."

Yes, We Sell The Saucony Endorphin Pro!

While we don't sell the Endorphin Pro 3 (Kathy's pick), because they don't make it anymore, you can get the Saucony Endorphin Pro 4 in men's and women's online and in-store! We can help you decide if it's the right shoe for you, and if not what you should try instead.

Happy Running!
