People think since we’re a running store you have to already “be a runner” to shop here. YOU DON’T!

But I’m Just Trying It Out
You might be thinking that if you want to start running you don’t need top-of-the-line gear. You’re right, but you do need to get the correct gear.
That’s where we come in. There’s an assumption that specialty running stores carry higher-priced items or overcharge for shoes. It’s not true!
However, since we are runners who run (and were once new runners too!), we know the products that work–and we know how to help you buy the correct gear that will be with you the longest and help you run the farthest.
Running shoes are tools. You always get your project done better, faster, and at less expense when you have the right tools and know how to use them!
Spend Less, Get More Than Shoes
Our expertise is what sets us apart. A Hoka running shoe is the same shoe at the same price anywhere you buy it, but with us you get an attentive expert at your service. We’re here to help you find the right shoe and ensure it’s used properly.
That’s the “more than shoes” part. When you shop with us, we’ll ask you to move around a little so we can make sure the shoe you get works with you. Then, if you’d like, we’ll talk to you about drills, cues, and other such things to help you run better.
We can do that because we’ve learned ourselves, and spend all day, everyday doing this for people.
Sometimes, we find one cue (for example, leading with your belly button) that can take away the pain you’ve been having (shin splints, for many people who need that cue). Running shoes are tools. You always get your project done better, faster, and at less expense when you have the right tools and know how to use them!

Why You Should Start With Us
Sure, you could go somewhere and ask for a shoe, get the shoe, and run in the shoe. And it might work out, but it might not, and then what do you do?
More research.
Confusion.
More money.
Then you try again, and maybe you’ve solved it, but what if you caused yourself an injury in the process? What if you didn’t need new shoes in the first place but were pressured into buying new running shoes and insoles and they didn’t help?
These are all real examples! We want everyone to find ways to enjoy running regardless of how far you got on your own or what you think you’re capable of–start with us!
