Run Tulsa Pink 5K and Fun Run
Run Tulsa Pink 5K is a race to support the Turn Tulsa Pink association which benefits local charities to support women and children whose lives have been touched by cancer. It will be an evening event finishing under hundreds of twinkling pink lights and surrounded by a sea of pink runners and supporters. At the end of the evening, join us in a STOMP OUT CANCER balloon popping party in the OU Schusterman "Pink Cave".
PINK THEMED RACE & PARTY !
- Entrants will get special pink blinky rings to help light up the event
- One Mile Fun run at 7pm & 5K at 7:30pm
- Runners can register as 5-person team or individually
- Mix 96 Tulsa will be rocking the house
- Scenic neighborhood course
- Chip timing
- Entrants can choose between pink or black commemorative shirts
- Run ends at dusk - finish uner a sea of pink lights
- Pink apparel encouraged - costume contest before races
- Pink themed indoor after-party
- All entrants can win prize drawings
- Great gifts will also be raffled after the race
- Post race snacks
Turn Tulsa Pink
Turn Tulsa Pink will be part of one event every month in 2012, so that Turn Tulsa Pink will remain in the eyes and hearts of Northeast Oklahoma leading up to our week long event Oct. 20 – 27, 2012.
Turn Tulsa Pink is a Non-Profit Organization that focuses on assisting families affected by cancer, and informing them of the small grass roots charities that can help them. Along with many Tulsa County businesses, organizations and schools, their fundraising efforts have made a financial impact on the following charities: 
- Breast Impressions
- Soulful Survivors
- AnnaBelles Ovarian Support Group
- Oklahoma branch of the Cervical Cancer Society
- Oklahoma Family Network – Pediatric Oncology
- Cancer Sucks
- Random Acts of Purpose

The Costume Contest
Run Tulsa Pink's Pink Costume Contest will start at 6:30 P.M. Get to the race early and be sure to wear as much PINK as possible. Awards will be given to teams as well as individuals based on originality, wildness, amount of pink, Best kids costume and other criteria.

Exciting news - Run Tulsa Pink has just been honored to be a part Tulsa Public School's Triple Crown Race Seriies. Tulsa Public Schools pick three quality races per year to publicize to the kids in an effort to get both the schoolchildren as well as their parents to get out and become healthy. Run Tulsa Pink is honored to be a part this series.
