RunnersWorld Tulsa "Half & Half" or "Double Half"

An event where you have the option of running a half marathon on either a trail or half marathon on a paved surface. Both half marathons will start at the same time and be going on simultaneously!

The other option is to run both surfaces!  Run a full marathon starting on the trail course and finishing on the paved course.

Unique finisher medals for each half! If you run the full marathon (Double Half) you will receive two medals. The medals will connect together to form a Yin/Yang.

A happy balance between running on trails and pavement!

Packet pickup will be available at RunnersWorld Tulsa from December 11-13, 2014, during normal store hours and at the event, beginning at 7:30am.

Half & Half Toy Drive to Benefit Remington Elementary School!

In the spirit of the holiday season, participants in the RunnersWorld Tulsa "Half & Half" (or "Double Half") on Dec. 14 are being asked to bring an unwrapped toy on the day of the event. All toys collected will be presented to the students at Remington Elementary School, 2524 W. 52nd St. Remington has an enrollment of 300 students--with 99 percent qualifying for the free/reduced lunch program. Located on a unique 20-acre campus with wetlands, nature trails and outdoor learning opportunities, Remington reflects the same high standards as participants of the Half & Half. We hope to present Remington's Principal Dr. Cassandra Funderburk with more than 300 gifts for the students at Remington--and we ask all of our runners to bring one or more toys to the half or full marathon on the 14th.
