| Event Information: | The Moore and Westmoore Alumni Associations have teamed up to present the Annual Moore War Run. This 5K run through downtown Moore benefits the scholarship funds for both high schools. This run is sanctioned by the USATF and timed with ChampionChips. Since 1988, Lions and Jaguars have sparred against one another in a race to determine the big cat in town. When it comes to Moore War, rivalries run deep and emotions run high. Saturday, August 28th, alums from Moore and Westmoore, as well as members of the community, will put aside their differences for a second time to come together for a common cause--current students. The Moore and Westmoore Alumni Associations are excited to team up to present the Moore War Run. This 5K run through downtown Moore will benefit the scholarship funds for both high schools.
